Medisept Viruton Extra 1L - Concentrate for cleaning and disinfecting instruments

Viruton® Extra is a highly effective concentrate intended for the simultaneous cleaning and disinfection of surgical and rotary instruments.
It is suitable for manual disinfection as well as for use in ultrasonic baths. Recommended for instruments made of stainless steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, rubber, porcelain, glass and plastics.

Thanks to the protease enzyme, it offers excellent cleaning properties. The product has anti-corrosion properties and high material tolerance.

✨ Main characteristics:

• Active from 0.5% in 15 minutes

• Broad spectrum of action: bacteria, fungi, mycobacteria (tuberculosis), enveloped viruses (Vaccinia, BVDV), adenovirus, poliovirus

• Contains a protease enzyme for high-performance cleaning

• Compatible with delicate instruments (steel, nickel, copper, aluminium, etc.)

• Ideal for ultrasonic baths and recommended for endoscopes (Vimex opinion)

• Anti-corrosion properties and high material tolerance (Chirmed opinion)

• 1L of concentrate = 200L of ready-to-use solution

• Effectively removes dried organic soiling

Instructions for use:

1. Prepare a solution by diluting the concentrate with water according to the desired concentration (e.g. 0.5%: 5 ml of concentrate in 995 ml of water).

2. Immerse the instruments immediately after use, ensuring that all parts are covered by the solution.

3. After disinfection, rinse and dry the instruments.

4. The prepared solution remains active for up to 14 days (uncontaminated).
   👉 It is recommended to change the solution daily for hygiene reasons.
